Playtomic provides analytics, leaderboards, a place to save user created levels and more for lots of great game developers.
The data we store can't be used to identify you except for Facebook leaderboards which may include your name if the developer designs it that way, it's stuff developers use to see things like how many times people die on level 7 so they know if they need to make changes to their game.
We have a plain English privacy policy that details more about this stuff.
Lots of amazing developers and portals trust Playtomic and we hope you do too, but if you want to block all the analytics stuff it goes exclusively through this url:
http://*.api.playtomic.com/tracker/*
which for each game becomes something like:
http://g123456789.api.playtomic.com/tracker/x.aspx
If you only block that url then the other cool stuff we offer developers like leaderboards and player created levels will still function. These services do not store your IP address or any other information except what you volunteer (eg whatever name you provide for a high score).
You can use tools like Adblock for Firefox or Chrome, or in Opera go Tools -> Advanced -> Blocked Content and paste that url format in. Not sure how to do it in IE or Safari.

Friends, Playtomic has come to an end. Part of this service will live on at Playtomic.org as a self-hosted, open source platform I am continuing to develop in my spare time. The rest is unfortunately finished.
Enter your email and we'll send you your views data.
