Padel steps into a new league. The All-Star Padel League launches on July 2026 in Johannesburg, bringing together 6 teams, 6 marquee players, and 90 players entering an electrifying player auction. On auction night, 6 team owners built their squads live, drafting players on a first-come, first-served sign-up basis. The first-ever Nationals will be hosted in 2027, where each winner of each league will compete for SA's best team. The All-Star Padel League aims to become a cornerstone of competitive padel in South Africa, connecting regional leagues with a national championship and creating a platform where both emerging and elite players can compete, grow, and showcase their talent. Through structured competition, national representation, and official ranking opportunities, the league seeks to play a meaningful role in the continued growth and professionalization of padel in South Africa.
