From Beginner to Improver

Beginner to Improver Padel Course Designed for players with a few months of experience or having completed our "Introduction to Padel" sessions. These sessions transition you from basic ball contact to structured matchplay. Key Learning Pillars 1.Court Positioning & Recovery: Learn where to stand and when to move. Transition from instinctual running to tactical movement. Understand the "no-man's-land" zone, ideal spacing at the glass, and how to reset your position alongside your partner after every shot. 2.Glass Defense & Read the Wall: Turn the back glass from an enemy into an asset. Develop patience when the ball passes you. Master timing, body orientation, and footwork for both off-the-glass clears and let-it-bounce defensive returns. 3.Net Control & Volley Technique: Take charge of the attack. Move away from hard, flat hits. Focus on directional control, depth, and using the chiquita (soft low shot) or controlled volleys to maintain pressure at the net. 4.Tactical Lobbing & Overhead Defense: Reset the point and retake the net. Develop height and depth control on defensive lobs to force opponents back. Learn basic overhead responses (bandeja foundations) to deal with incoming high balls safely. 5.Serves, Returns & Matchplay Strategy: Put skills into practice. Refine serve placement to exploit weaknesses and master return depth. Apply new movement and shot selection patterns during coached point-play and match scenarios. Course Outcomes By the end of these sessions, players will comfortably: Anticipate ball bounces off the glass rather than rushing the shot. Communicate and shift effectively with a partner during point construction. Play with tactical depth and placement rather than relying on power. Enter regular club mix-ins and social matches with more confidence.
