Padel Princess Fundraiser

Join us for an afternoon of padel, purple, and purpose. The Padel Princess Fundraiser is a fundraising tournament that brings the community together to honour survivors and activists of gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF), while raising funds for the end-of-year event of the Villioti Fashion School students, through the Fashion Education Foundation. Arrive, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy complimentary drinks upon arrival. Whether you’re stepping onto the court or cheering from the sidelines, there’s a place for you at Padel Princess. No matter your skill level, this is about connection, community, and giving back. 🎀🎗️🎾 Padel Princess: Tournament Format for Players Format: Team Americano Padel Princess Fundraiser will be played as a Team Americano: a social, round-robin style format where every team gets plenty of court time and nobody is knocked out early. It’s all about playing, scoring, and having fun for a good cause. How It Works 1. Register as a team of 2 or jump in as a single and get a partner allocated. - You and your partner stay together for the whole tournament. 2. Play a series of rounds. - Each round, your team is matched against a different team. You’ll meet as many opposing teams as possible over the course of the afternoon. 3. Every point counts. - Matches are played to a set number of points (will be confirmed on the day). - Every point you win is added to your team’s total score for the tournament. 4. Top 4 teams advance. - After the final round of the Americano stage, the four teams with the highest total scores move through to the knockout stage. Knockout Stage - Semi-finals: The four qualifying teams are seeded by score (1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd). Winners advance to the final. - Final: The two semi-final winners compete for the Padel Princess title. - Tie-Breaks If teams are level on points at the end of the Americano stage, the following will apply to decide who qualifies: Head-to-head result between the tied teams - Points difference - A sudden-death point play-off, if needed Some info thats good to know - Matches follow standard padel rules. - Please arrive on time for check-in so the schedule can start promptly. - The tournament runs from 13:00 to 17:00, and round lengths will be set to ensure the semi-finals and final finish on time. - Fair play, good humour, and a purple outfit are strongly encouraged. 💜
