Fun Mixed Americano – Format & Scoring This is a fun Mixed Americano, meant for everyone to enjoy! You will partner with everyone throughout the Americano and also play against everyone, similar to a round-robin format. The idea is to mix things up, meet different players and, most importantly, have fun! Scoring: Scoring will be points-based: 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. Each player will get 4 serves per turn. If your first serve is a fault, you will still get your second serve, just like in normal padel. The reason we use points-based scoring is to make things fair when time runs out. For example, with normal scoring, if the score is 30–40 when time runs out, 5 points have already been played, but one team could still lose the entire game. With points-based scoring, you simply get credit for the points you actually won. So if you lose the final point, you only lose that one point, rather than losing an entire game. This keeps the scoring fair and ensures that every point counts. Most importantly, this is a fun event, so let's enjoy the games, mix with different players and have a great time on court!
