Match Lab (rating 1.5 - 1.9)

Match Lab – The Match Experience Beginner Players | Levels 1.5–1.9 Every Tuesday & Thursday Welcome to Match Lab! Match Lab is designed for beginner players (rated 1.5–1.9) who are ready to start gaining real match-play experience in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. This clinic focuses on helping players transition from practicing individual skills to using them in actual match situations. Players will develop confidence, improve consistency, learn basic match strategies, and become more comfortable playing points and keeping score. Through guided match play, players will work on court positioning, shot selection, point construction, scoring, and understanding the fundamentals of competitive play. Clinic Format Match Lab is designed for 3 players plus the coach, who will participate as the 4th player on the court. The coach will rotate players throughout the clinic, giving everyone the opportunity to play with different partners, practice different court positions, and experience a variety of match situations. This interactive format allows beginners to learn directly from the coach while building confidence, improving their skills, and gaining valuable match experience in a relaxed and supportive setting. Flexible Upgrade Options If fewer than 3 players are registered, the following upgrade options will be available: 2 Players: The clinic can be upgraded to a 1-hour semi-private lesson at the same rate, allowing for more personalized instruction and focused training. 1 Player: The player will have the option to upgrade to a 1-hour private lesson for $120, with individualized coaching tailored to their specific goals. These flexible options ensure a valuable learning experience even when the clinic does not reach the full 3-player format. Our Goal Build confidence, learn how to play matches, improve consistency, understand basic strategies, and feel comfortable competing on the court! Match Lab – Where Practice Meets Competition!
