Hey Durbanville Padel family! We are launching an exciting new team padel league, and we want YOU to be part of it. Here is how it works: You enter as a pair with a partner of similar ranking. Once all entries are in, we will rank all pairs from highest to lowest and split everyone into three equal groups - A's, B's, and C's. Teams of six will then be formed, each made up of two A pairs, two B pairs, and two C pairs, so every team is perfectly balanced. Each team gets a fun colour - based name. The league is completely gender open. We play on Monday and Friday evenings, with two 90-minute slots per night. Each fixture is a round robin, with three simultaneous pro set matches - first to eight games - so you are always guaranteed competitive play against opponents of similar strength. But here is where it gets interesting. There is a second round called the Double Cross. Teams secretly decide how to mix their players across the three courts, with only one rule - the two A's cannot play together but one A must be placed in the highest ranked team. This adds a brilliant tactical twist that keeps every match unpredictable and exciting. No matter your level, you will get great competitive padel - and a good laugh along the way.
