Hexagon Amateur League SA

The Hexagon Amateur League is an inter-club, team-based padel competition built on the legacy of Spain's successful LAPI League, which has over a decade of experience as one of the world's biggest amateur padel circuits. Recently acquired by Playtomic and the Hexagon Cup, it has been rebranded and expanded internationally to new territories, starting with the UK and South Africa. The South African pilot league will launch across two regions: Gauteng (Pretoria vs. Johannesburg) and Western Cape (South vs. West), creating a local competitive ecosystem where clubs and players compete for regional dominance and a chance to qualify for the National Master Final. Each team (men's and women's categories) consists of 4–6 players, competing across three skill levels ( Gold: Playtomic level 3.51+, Silver: Playtomic level 2.1–3.5, Bronze: Playtomic level 0–2.0), with all scheduling, court bookings, and match logistics managed centrally. The initiative connects local clubs to the international Hexagon Cup ecosystem, offering players digital integration via the Playtomic app, exposure, and the opportunity to advance from local play to global amateur finals.
