Chiquita & Lobs – Shot Clinic (1.5–5.0)

A personalised shot clinic developing two key options for playing against opponents at the net. Basket feeding, individual feedback and appropriate footwork and positioning allow each player to practise the chiquita and lob at a difficulty suited to their level. Beginner: Basic lob technique, movement, height and control, plus an introduction to playing softly towards the feet. Intermediate: Chiquita technique, lob depth, direction, spin, consistency and positioning. Advanced: Disguise, trajectory, precision, variation and choosing effectively between playing through or over the opposition. Players can request to focus on a specific aspect of the chiquita or lob, and the coach will try to accommodate where possible or advise on the most suitable area to work on.
