Welcome to FNL... The basis of an Americano is that the teams are drawn for each match and the tournament is finished when every team has played each other. Each match is played for a certain number of points, eg 21 points. The teams play for serve with the winners taking 1 point and the opening serve, each player then serves 5 times, swapping from one team to the other. Each ball won gives one point to the winning team. When you have played 21 points, you fill in each team's result. Example: Team A meets team B and if team A wins 14 - 7, they get 14 points and Team B get 7 points for a total of 21. When all matches have been played, the team with the most points accumulated wins.
