SmashIT Padel Tournament

48 teams will battle it out across a full day of padel, split into 12 groups of 4. Every team plays a round-robin within their group - three matches guaranteed, no exceptions. Scoring: Wins earn 3 points, losses earn 0. Group standings are decided on total points. * Group winner: If two or more teams are tied on points for the top spot, it comes down to the head-to-head result between them. * Best runners-up: The four strongest second-place teams across all 12 groups go through alongside the group winners. Ties on points here are broken by game difference (GD) - the net games won minus lost across their group matches. For example, winning 6-1 gives you +5 GD, while losing 6-3 gives you -3 GD. From there, the top 16 teams (12 group winners + 4 best runners-up) move into the knockout stage - Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and a Final to crown the champions. Every match is a set but runs on a strict 45-minute clock across our 9 courts, keeping the entire day on schedule no matter how matches play out - if a match finishes early, the court simply waits for the next scheduled slot. Match order is built so no team ever plays back-to-back, keeping the competition fair and giving every pair a fighting chance deep into the day.
