Spring Singles League at Wold Padel! Join our Spring Singles League at Wold Padel! Meet other players, improve your game and enjoy some friendly competition. The league is aimed at players with a Playtomic rating of 0.5–2.3, creating a fun and competitive environment for players of a similar level. League Structure • Maximum 8 players, with a minimum of 6 required to run the league. • Each team consist of 1 player • All players will compete in one group. • Each player will play every other player once. • Matches must be played before the end of May 27. • League standings will be determined by the points earned throughout the competition. • Once entries are closed we will add you to a League watsapp group so that you can arrange your matches. Entry Fee The entry fee is £75 per player, payable upon registration. Registration Deadline Please register by 9th March. Places are limited to 8 players and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Fixture Scheduling Fixtures will be organised in advance via playtomic, with matches spread across the league period to give everyone time to play. Players will be responsible for arranging a mutually convenient time for their fixtures with the apposing team. You will be added to a league WhatsApp group once entries are closed. Matches must be moved with at least 24hours notice. Match Format · Win all 3 sets win: 3 points. · Set win: 1 point. · Set loss: 0 points. · Unfinished set: Virtual winner gets 1 point, a tie earns 0.5 points each, and the loser gets 0 points. · Forfeit: -1 point. · Double forfeit: -2 points. Points & League Table Points will be awarded according to match and set results, including completed matches, unfinished matches and walkovers. The league table will be updated as results are entered, with the player accumulating the most points finishing top of the league. Rules & Fair Play • Players should make every effort to attend their scheduled matches. • If you cannot make a fixture, please give your opponent as much notice as possible. • Please respect your opponent, follow the rules of padel and keep the competition fair and friendly. The aim of the league is to get people playing, improve their singles game, meet fellow club members and enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
